On the morning of March 10, 2016, Prof. Jenn-Kai Tsai, Director of Office of Extensive Education and Pro. Teen-Hang Meen, Director of Innovation Incubation Center from Taiwan National Formosa University (NFU) visited Ningde Normal University (NNU). Mr. Jiang Xiaoyuang, Secretary of the Party Committee, Prof. Lin Yuexin, President of NNU, and Pro. Wei Yuanzhu, Vice-President of NNU met with the guests and had a discussion on the cooperation in education between NNU and NFU.
President Lin Yuexin first extended his warm welcome to Prof. Jenn-Kai Tsai and Pro. Teen-Hang Meen’s coming to our university and briefly introduced NNU and its characteristics in education-running. He pointed out that NNU attaches great importance to exchanges and cooperation with others and has already established cooperative relations with many universities in Taiwan. He hoped that NNU could have multi-level cooperation and exchanges with NFU in many fields, such as disciplines development and talents cultivation, especially further and deeper cooperation in smart manufacturing and students’ innovation and entrepreneurship training.
Prof. Jenn-Kai Tsai introduced the general situation of NFU and also expressed NFU’s intention of cooperation in education with NNU. He hoped this visit and communication would be a good start of the cooperation between the two sides.
They also discussed the issues on cooperation in education and exchange visits in depth.
Prof. Zhang Tingzhen, Dean of Department of Computer Science and Mr. Chen Xinke, Deputy Director of the Party and Administrative Affairs Office also were present at the meeting.
